Polish pępek (Old Polish also pąpek); Belarusian пупо́к; Ukrainian пупо́к; cf. Russian пупо́к; from Proto-Slavic ✱pǫpъ 'navel', ✱pǫpъkъ.

Notable that the East Slavic variant פּופּיק extends far West into Polish linguistic territory where we would expect פּעמפּיק and פּאָמפּיק.
