A Semitic root (see סעודה) with the Slavic suffixe -eve-, perhaps inspired by Polish biesiadować 'to feast'. The verbal suffix ־עווע־ is derived from the Polish suffixes -owa-, -ewa-, -ywa-, -iwa-.
